Care and storing of candy molds

You do not have to wash your chocolate candy molds every single time you use them. Wash candy molds when you are completely finished making your candies and ready to store them away.  Wash them using a small amount of mild liquid soap.  Do not soak them.

DO NOT PUT CHOCOLATE MOLDS INTO YOUR DISHWASHER!!

Do not scrub them.  Rinse chocolate molds under lukewarm running water.  Shake excess water off and dry with soft cloth or paper towel. Store in a cool dry place.  (Be careful not to store candy molds in a hot area in the summer.  Care of hard candy molds is similar.  Except you need to spray hard candy molds after fourth or fifth time using them.
